Our Day Care Family
At Vision One CDC Home Daycare in Goodyear, Arizona, the relationship between parents and provider is very important to us. The safety and welfare of each enrolled student in our facility is our first priority. Open communication can only enhance our relationship and encourage positive growth of each student in our care.
We encourage the parents to take part in our various programs and activities throughout the year. We also encourage parental involvement in all aspects of your child's care and education.
Safety and Security
All persons entering the daycare must do so through the side main gate entrance only. After signing in at the front desk. All other outside doors will remain locked during the hours of operation. (All doors are designed for fire safety and can be opened from the inside at any time).
Please do not attempt to pick up your child by entering the playground gates. You must first sign your child out by entering through the side main gate.
Please feel free to visit the daycare and participate in your child’s scheduled activities. We do ask that you allow the provider to carry out their daily schedule activities.
Family-Style Dining
In family-style dining, children learn and practice many social skills, such as taking turns, passing food to their friends, and saying please and thank you.
All food is placed in serving bowls on the table and children are encouraged to either serve themselves or serve themselves with help from their provider. The provider is there to assist the child in practicing good manners and making good decisions through learning.
Children often want to try new foods that they see their friends or provider eating. The provider can use this time to talk with the children about nutrition and the color and texture of the foods that they are enjoying together. Keeping the children healthy and safe is one of the most important priorities of our program.
Our goal is to help build family relationships and provide a context for defining family roles and their responsibilities. A family that prays and eats together stays together.
